That's nothing, common issue on many vehicles and manufactures.
Had the same recall on a few chryslers a little while back.
Nothing a quick flash won't fix.

Yes. Nissan just had a recall for the same thing a week before. One article I'd read said it was due to potential harm for small unbelted passengers. This is from Ford's official release. Why are your kids in the front seat without a seatbelt? The Airbag hit them too hard? Imagine what the dash would have done, or the windshield, or the pavement after being ejected.

Our government has to protect the stupid and by stupid I mean those people that don't wear their seatbelts. NHTSA is requiring Ford to do this recall because if a small person in the front seat, doesn't have their seatbelt on, the airbag can cause neck injuries.
There is nothing wrong with the current mustang if you wear your seatbelt.

According to the recall website mine has no recalls.  THey most likely have not updated with this one yet though....

**EDIT**  According to Mustangforums and a couple other places, it's updated as people are getting confirmation that their vehicles are affected.  If you have an S-197, type in the VIN and find out.  Evidently I'm one of the lucky few that does not have this issue.
