A sad day in video gaming

Ea is trying to acquire Take 2, that will add to their list of recently acquired companys Bioware,Pandemic,Mythic and DICE. Alot of the share holders of Take 2 have already green lighted the merger. The only hold outs are 2 out of the 7 board of directors on Take 2's side, lookin pretty grim for Take 2's future.

Thats next generation and the Borg did "acquire" Jean Luc picard, although at the end of the episode they did end up sending a virus out to the hive to tell all the collective units to sleep which in turn killed the Borg.

any sad day to a gamer must be a great day in my book.  The gaming "addiction" is about as useless as polishing a turd:D
Get out and do somethin!!

Gaming is just as valid of a hobby as hot rodding is.  Yes, some people take it too far, but dont generalize things like that.  kthx.

@Carl - be quiet, you're a gamer.  Way to own yourself hahaha

Anyways...it looks like there wont be a gaming industry a few years from now.  It'll just be EA.

Come on. I'm a gamer too, and I know it's a useless hobby. ;) Be honest. What, in life, have you accomplished whilst playing video games?

But then, Jcasiddy, you're on the internet posting on a message board about Thunderbirds (and Cougars), and posting a lot, I might add. It might be best not to throw stones in your glass house. :hick:

(..and yes, I'm smiling, so don't go into a fit. This is all light hearted.)

*edited to include Cougars, because you know, they get testy if they feel left out* :shakeass:

ehhh, don't hate us gamers...I mean, for some of us, it's the only way we will ever get to drive a McLaren F1 or take out a whole troop of Communist insurgents in Afghanistan, or what-have-you...

I love my Tbird and F-150, but I don't spend every single second of my life fantasizing about what I want to  do with 'em next...

It's all relative, and it's all useless anyway: We all end up the same in the end. ;)

[/resumes polishing turds] :D
