The last few years were not too kind to him what with Foose coming into his own and the whole thing with the false titles (he caught a misdemeanor conviction for that -- coulda been MUCH worse).I've never really discussed the aspect of the TV show with anyone other than my wife....I feel the show destroyed him. The Tuetul clan was smart enough to use the camera to their advantage keeping employee interaction on camera to a minimum in the beginning. Certain employees were given the green light for face time as the show progressed. This was no accident. I don't know if it was the producers of the show or the Teutuls, but whoever did that was smart.Boyd on the other hand, had his dirty laundry on display from day one. We all have some. Seems he had a lot more than average and he had a cast of egomaniacs to go along with it. Many of them seem VERY unprofessional. I strongly dislike Duane. I'm sorry to say it -- I think he is a pompous ass.I think a lot of it had to do with personality as well. I feel most people could relate to the Teutuls more than Boyd.RIP sir.
