My 88 T-BIRD Reply #3 – February 20, 2008, 11:37:55 AM nice dont see to many of these birds painted up like the old nascar cup cars. i planned on painting my 84 thunderchicken stock car like the classic 28 havoline car white and black with gold numbers. Quote Selected
My 88 T-BIRD Reply #4 – February 20, 2008, 12:32:32 PM Car was done to match 88 Winston cup championship car driven by Bill Elliot.Car was done in 89,it paced six different races between 89 and 1990.Windows were affixed in the up position permenantly as were the rules, this is one thing I am changing but need everything to do it. Car was stored from 2004 untill december 2007,I found it and tracked down the previous owner. 5 lug conversion was already done and engine is from a 92 f150 5.0 with 62,000 miles. All the sponser and numbers are viynl and need to be redone,Still an awsome car and brings attention wherever it go's.Glove box is also signed by Bill Elliot.:burnout: Quote Selected

My 88 T-BIRD Reply #11 – February 20, 2008, 08:30:04 PM That's pretty neat. If it has power windows they probably just took out the relay or something to disable them. Quote Selected
My 88 T-BIRD Reply #12 – February 20, 2008, 09:54:35 PM No they welded two bars from track to bottom of door,no internals at all. I found a 87 TC at a local yard just have to wait for snow to melt a little. I tried to get to it,but its got snow past the bottom of the windows on both sides. Quote Selected
