8.8 TC rear question.....

O.K.,I know that the "L" means Locker.Fine.Mine reads....3SL55.Is that the Locker?I don't remember ever seeing an "S" in there. With my luck,It's one of two awkward rears that no-one wants anyway, and I'm $120.00 lighter in the pocket.

I have no clue on the numbers, but grab the axle on one side and turn.  If the other side turns the same way (same way meaning both wheels would be push the car in the same direction) I believe it's and lsd and if it turns the other way it's an open rear end.

what's so hard about pulling the rear cover off and looking before you buy?

I should've pulled the cover.I didn't even think about it.By the time they FINALLY got the car pulled out,it was two and a half hours down the toilet.I wanted to get it and leave. As far as the "S",I'm glad it doesn't matter.I'll take the axles, brakes, and lines from the 8.8 I'm using now and swap them over (remember all of that Chuck?LOL.).I'm glad I got out of there as cheap as I did with what I got.I'd like to go back.I think I'd buy the blue interior from the second TC.Thanks guys for the help, your patience, understanding, and dog gone it,just being there for me (maybe a bit too much drama there).
