All depends on what the actual pieces are from, and what condition.

Examples:

  • Flywheel $150
Stock, pulled from a wreck, missing 3 teeth, resurfaced 14 times.
? or ?
Brand new, Motorsport, still in the box with all mounting bolts.

  • Shifter $200
Some py handle found in an Isuzu's trunk, looks like it might fit.
? or ?
B&M Ripper, never opened, never used, all hardware included.

We need DETAILS!!!
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

1988 5.0 Bird, mostly stock, partly not, now gone to T-Bird heaven.
1990 Volvo 740GL. 114 tire-shredding horsies, baby!

yeah 200 is the price of a new B&M ripper, Hurst short throw, or Tirax steeda shifter. if it's stock...:slap:

sounds high for the t5. in my experiance they go for around 500 in good used condition

everything else sounds within the ballpark. i had a donor mustang i got for 100 bucks so i lucked out. the bellhousing was junk so i got one on the corral forums. the guy gave it to me along with the block plate. (he was throwing them away anyway). i bought a new king cobra clutch off ebay for 160 shipped. it came with the alighnment tool, timken TO bearing and piolot bearing. the mustang had a new adjustable cable and aluminum quadrant. i bought a used but in good shape flywheel for 60.

you should be able to get a new pro 5.0 or similer shifter for around 165

everybodys experiance is going to be different. me, im a cheep  and will hold out for a deal.

even if it cost me 2 grand to do it id do it again in a sec.

All of the prices are for the higher quality pieces, the tranny is a racing unit, flywheel is brand new 24 pounder no bolts though, console is the price including time it will take to get it to look good enough to put in my baby and materials. Ill keep looking shame I'm not buying anything right now and it will take me till the summer to get everything ready but i think that i want to do this
