It's 100% American, woohoo, and took a few records from the European screamers, and in a V-8 to boot. Now if they could stuff the set up in my yellow 86'.

Something they mention in the video that I did not see in the read was that it has 8 radiators throughout the car. If you don't have dial up, I would recommend checking out the video on the page as well. It took a second time for me to hook up to the link, but well worth it.

SBC FTW!!! They did that run a few months ago, and it caused quite an upset for a coachbuilder to build a car that takes the crown from a car more than twice the cost. Not to mention, you know that Bug cost a lot more in R&D, pulling expertise from all over Europe.

I'd still rather the Veyron to own, though. You pay for more than performance in a stripped out race car with just enough packaging to keep it street legal. Like a diamond encrusted instrument cluster. (I'm not sure if that made production, by you know what I mean.) :D

Not the same Shelby as the old fart who puts his name on ANYTHING.

A much BETTER Shelby IMO.

The 8 radiators are for random things (coolant, oil, fuel, rear dif, trans, etc).

That car is actually "decently" equipped inside (not Veyron levels mind you, but on par with Lambo is what's being said).

I'd love to visit the factory one day.

Shelby may have sold out a bit with his name and all, but I like most of the cars he was 'involved' in. And you can say what you want about him, but until your bank account and car building reputation passes his up, I'll continue to give him props and admire the Shelby collection. :D LOL

As for this ride, pretty sweet. idk, I'll stick with my TC! :burnout:

Yep, I just drove that very car around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I hit 254 mph on the long straight and covered the course in 6:20.xxx. Of course the car needed many thousands of dollars worth of body work and a new paint job by the time I was finished but I had no fatality type accidents, hahah...

By comparison the Ferrari Enzo only hit 203 mph and lapped the course 10 sec slower.

In real life I'd be terrified to drive either car at the Ring!

I've had my 04' Mach1 up to just under 150MPH, before i traded on my truck, and it was smooth goin' and ran out of room, that would be such a rush goin 100 faster. The cars name is "Aultimate Aero" if you need to look it up Baxo. Not sure y link didn't work for ya'.
I am not a big fan of sports cars myself, but just the idea that the worlds fastest production car is NOW, a U.S. V-8 and rear wheel drive too boot, is VERY, VERY COOL.

Caroll Shelby helped in the Lemans races back in the 60s and put ford cars on the Supercar map very nice car but i am sure you can upgrade your new FORD GT cheaper and make it do the same thing with a 5.4L Ford V8. But i will say that car looks freakin' sweet in every picture and color. Also in 2007 sold his shelby cobra for $6.5 million Dollars and i saw the car with me own eyes. Most cars have less HP so you can not wreck them and those who wants more just need more Ca$h to upgrade their GT500.

Your right but that is nice its a street car and also tops the old speed record by 4MPH.
