3.45's for a 7.5 -- Disregard, bought new. January 23, 2008, 01:03:48 PM Lookin for a bit of an upgrade on my 7.5, but not quite ready for 3.73's as to the car getting a fair amount of highway miles still (4000 a year or so). So if anyone has a set of 3.45's and the speedo gear to make them work with an AOD and stock size tires let me know. Aint much more than the 3.27's I have, but unfortunately they don't make something like a 3.55 for a 7.5 and this rear end is rather built so.... Quote Selected

3.45's for a 7.5 -- Disregard, bought new. Reply #7 – January 23, 2008, 11:01:49 PM 3.45 Cool I assumed they were 3.55 by spinning the driveshaft and watching the tire so by putting in my 8.8 and 3.73 I will see that much more of a difference Quote Selected

3.45's for a 7.5 -- Disregard, bought new. Reply #10 – February 01, 2008, 09:31:30 PM NO! LOL! My Powertrax locking unit is rated for 800 Lb-Feet of torque. My axles are stronger than stock too. And the Locker gets rid of the weakest link in the 7.5 which is the spider gears IMHO....Too much in this rear right now....If it should happen to grenade at some point though... Quote Selected
