that show was soo funny. i couldnt stop laughing the entire time. did you all see that one guy who was down by something like 30 points and stillsaid 'i can win this, plenty of time left)...to bad he said that with only 2 challenges left. if you like to make fun of people this is your show, not something you can take seriously.

p.s. if anyone one here decides to go on that show, just act like a normal person. everybody on there is wayyy to confident and pen 15y.

if i went on there, I'd let my inner psycho out. i wouldn't be pen 15y or anything.  i say they focus too much about just being on tv and the all mighty "hulk."  i wouldn't give to skittles that i was on tv or was around "celebrities." I would be staring down the "gladiators" like they aint shiznit and not look like i feel inferior to them, basically show no fear, thats the best way to psych someone out. i laugh too b/c they all (the contestants) look like fools that shouldn't even be on there.  i bet there are plenty of military veterans and special op guys that put in applications that would kick every one of those "gladiators" asses all at once but they don't even get a call back.

The Gladiators are smaller than the Gen I gladiators.  They must do steroid testing now.

AND DID ANYONE ELSE THINK THE REFEREE WAS THE SAME REF FROM THE MOVIE DODGEBALL?! he looked just like and sounded just like the movie ref. everytime i heard, 'ready, set...' i always expected him to say 'DODGEBALL!'

I watched it last night. It's pretty retarded, I think.

It looks like they told the gladiators to act like a bunch of assholes, plus they gave them retarded names like Militia? I mean come on.

And, they constantly cut the camera all over the place during the challenges (especially assault) and you can't tell what the hell is going on.

On top of all that, everything the contestants said sounded scripted and overly dramatic. That guy that was on last night that they called "big country" sure sounded like a country stereotype, talking wrestling pigs at the county fair. I would be surprised if that was all written for him.

We watched because there was nothing else on! lol

It's not too bad, I used to watch the first version also. I can't remember anyone who was on there. I do think some of the women Gladiators are a little ridiculous though.... Fury is the worst! LMAO, good thing she's not an (official) actress, she'd never make a dime.

I do like Wolf though, he's got a sense of humor.

yeh wolf is cool but kinda cheesy.  i dont know if it was from the one last night or the first one but a contestant was talkin ish to wolf and wolf made him pay for it.

i dont usually like girls with huge muscles, but crush is about right IMO.

It was from the first one. LMAO..... it was on the pyramid, and if I remember right, the guy was really pen 15y in the beginning and told Wolf he would kick his arse, and then he was pen 15y at the pyramid too, so Wolf made him pay.... it was rather funny.

I only have two complaints.

1. Cut to commercial way too many times.  In the original, they would play through a whole round, then cut to commercial.

2. The handbike on the final challenge.  In the original, if someone fell off the handbike, a ref would be on the mat to enforce a time penalty for falling.  As it is now, it is faster to drop off the hand bike and climb the ladder at the other end of the mat.

i noticed that too, it was like after the swimming, the climbing (i think this is the order) they're too tired for the handbike and they fall... one guy made maybe 2 revolutions saw the other guy fall and faked himself falling.  not only that but everytime i see them use the handbike its painful.  i remember in the original the contestants would fly accross that thing.

as for the commercial thing, its not as bad as hulk (bless him, his life fell completely apart last year) talking to the contestants so deng much.  thats my gripe.  i hope once the show is in the swing of things that wont happen as much.
