T-5 swap or new AOD

Unless the TV cable is broken, its too  cold to crawl under and check right now, I need a tranny.  So I thought maybe swapping in a T-5 would be worth it I have wanted to do it since I bought the couger.  So I thought I'd break down a parts list and you guys can help me fill in the blanks and maybe talk me through it, if you have nothing better to do of course.
1. T-5    $500-750 maybe buy a used/bad one and do something like this  http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_874789_-1_11251
2. Clutch  $150-300
3. Flywheel  $350-400 for aluminum $50-100 factory new
4. Driveshaft    $350?
5. Clutch cable and quadrant  $100
6. Bellhousing/clutch fork  $50-100
7. Pedal assy  ?????
8. Shifter  http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_944366_-1
9. Misc wiring and fluid $100
In the neighborhood of $1300 to $1700 which is awfully close to a new automatic, unless I forgot something

wow... i think you're doing something wrong to get those numbers.  I've seen T5 swaps on the corral all day for 800 bucks.

Get a good quality clutch flywheel and it might be just as cheap going for an aluminum driveshaft
J/K’s look for aerostar or crownvic alm d/s and go to a d/s shop and have them size it correct
While at the j/k look for a good parts car maybe dirt cheap you can get everything you need on the car already.
