My Cougar will probably not be in any kind of shape to drive all the way to Cat Jam this year. But that doesn't mean I can't drive my truck, right? Anyway, I'm really crossing my fingers that I get to come this year!

I'm checking into going this year.  Id like to bring the cougar back out now that it's sporting a mark viii powertrain.  I won't discuss the reason I may not come as not to start drama in the community.

Whos staying at the econo lodge? i just reserved my room there. so if anyone is going to caravan from pa and there staying there then that would work out the best. plus maybe we could get the discount for the others who are staying.

Does someone have an address of a hotel where some of you will be staying?I saw that there was a big group picture of the cars last year that was taken before the drive to the park,I'm driving up from the columbus area that sat. morning and would like to get into that picture if possible (if the same thing is going to be done).An address and an approximate time would be greatly appreciated.Dave

Dave, the picture you are talking about was taken in an empty parking lot across the street from Red Roof Inn, where a lot of us have been staying. We usually meet at RRI's parking lot about 10 AM for a short meeting before heading to the park. This is when we have been lining up the cars for a group shot. We usually like to be on the road to the park between 10:30 and 11 AM, so if you can make it there between 10 and 10:30 (closer to 10 if possible), you should be OK.

The address for RRI is:

1051 Tiffany South
Poland, OH 44514

If you come in from the east on US224, it's the last street before I680 (turn right) and if you come in on I680 from the west it's the first light and turn left. That street makes a 45 degree turn and RRI is right at the turn.

Eric, I just wanted to make sure for myself.....if you go to the map link I posted above, there is a large building and parking lot directly south of RRI, this is where the car show is this year, right?

Kevin, you got it...that's the place.

I found out a little more info about that show too. It seems that a former member of the host club (Valley Cruzers) is starting up his own show, and it is going to be held at Chili's. He's counting on people just returning to Chili's out of habit. Basically he snuck behind the backs of the Valley Cruzers to do that. Now I have no idea who the guy is or what his intentions are, but all of the cool guys from Valley Cruzers will be at the other show (the one behind the hotel). They've asked me personally to have us go to their show, not the one at Chili's, and of course we will abide by that.

I don't want to add a layer of confusion here, that's all.
