You may have to trim out the black headlight mounts (behind the headlamps now, where the adjusters attach) in the center for the new lenses to fit, but otherwise that's the extent of physical modifications. You'll definitely need to use the conversion harnesses that come with them to use the lights--H4's have a different wiring setup than our stock ones. Quote Selected

I know people have to make money and shipping can't be exactly what they pay for postage/UPS, but it doesn't cost that much to ship those. I was looking at some DVD's and they guy wanted like 40 for shipping...... gimme a break. I also was lookng at a 256 SD memory card and there are plenty on e-bay charging over 15 to ship them, again you gotta be sh***ting. They ain't gonna get my money. Quote Selected

So i mean if his marketting stragedy is to show his product as low price and make up a bit of the difference in the shipping charge. whatever.. the overall total is still not bad, IMHO. Most see this guy with the cheaper price, buy the item, and then get screwed on shipping. They coulda had 'em for $13 less had they bought them from the other guy. Not only that, but jacking up shipping charges is against eBay policy (fee avoidance, because FVF is not charged on shipping)Personally, I'd rather pay more and support the honest seller than save a few bucks and condone a dishonest seller, especially a dishonest seller that warns you in his own auctions to watch out for other sellers who are dishonest for the exact same reason.You can buy new items cheap when they're stolen, too, and you save a few dollars, but look at what you're supporting. Finding out for yourself is being right.I paid $73 for a Minolta XG-9 SLR with a telescopic/articulating Sakar flash, a 80-200 zoom and 23-75 macro, but it cost $75 to get it here from the UK. I receive about 50-60 parcels a year from the USA as well. I'm kinda big into ebay :D The biggest parcel I had received was a complete trailer hitch for my T-Bird, and it cost $30 to ship. Unless those headlights are made out of lead, or unless the guy's sending 'em via overnight courier, there's no way they would cost $35 to ship to Canada. Probably closer to $15 for USPS airmail, maybe $20 for international express. Paranoid maybe, but it's educated paranoia. This particular seller goes so far as to say "Don't trust the other sellers because they rip you off with shipping, but kindly bend over while I slip it in". If you don't mind supporting this practice, by all means, buy the headlights. Show the seller his scam works. Sadly, most people that do business with this type draw their opinions of ebay (and online purchcases in general) from these transactions. This is why ebay has been falling apart. On a slightly related note, it amazes me just how tainted one's opinion can become after one bad transaction. I have seen countless auctions that stated "WILL NOT SHIP TO CANADA. I GOT RIPPED OFF BY A CANADIAN ONCE". One Canadian ripped him off, 30 million are now not welcome in his "store". Of course, as a Canadian I have a major gripe with every ignorant that won't ship outside the "lower 48" anyway... Quote Selected

After I didn't hear anything for a couple days I emailed the seller to make sure he got my payment. He said he did and he was going to send the plane out the next day. Well the next day he emailed me back and told me that he damaged the wing when he was packing it and that he had more wings on order. He asked me if I was okay with the delay and said he would include a free extra battery and prop as a way to make up for it. That's the way to do business and I think the majority of sellers on eBay still do that. I usually won't buy from anyone that has less than 99% feedback anyway and, in four years of buying and selling, I've only had one bad transaction.But, then again, I've always loved garage sales and flea markets. :D Quote Selected
