How wide is the trunk lid?

I'd measure it myself, but my t-bird is in storage for the winter. Can anyone measure the trunk lid and tell me how wide it is? Thanks.

Hey,what a coincidence, my '88 T-Bird trunk lid is also 52".What are the odds?LOL.
