Anybody else have this problem?  Anybody have a fix?

same problem here, no fix tho.

mine isnt bad, hardly noticable not, it was a little worse when it was hotter in the summer, but even still it wasnt terrible.

Take the steering wheel off and lightly grease the copper rings on the back of it with dielectric grease. Squeak-b-gone.

I had to do that to mine for the squeak, but I live on a gravel road, in addition to my driver's door being rusty along the seam at the bottom, had to clean it all out again...dust got in there, made a helluva mess.
I noticed it when I swapped to the TC wheel.
The TC doors will help solve that issue.

like thunderchicken said that grease makes all the difference.

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

is it the wheel or the trim ring under the wheel, the one that goes over the tilt lever. thats wa\hat sqeaks on mine. i just mover it back down the column and it stops

This is really funny you guys. You won't believe this , But there is a TSB for squeeky steering wheels on ALL Jagurs cars. In the bulletin they tell us to remove rack-n-pinion and tear down to replace a seal that is making the sound transmitting it up to the steering wheel making you think it's the covers rubbing on the wheel. Crazy to think that Jaguars and ford fox cars using the same Rack-n-pinion.  Lol,Lol,Lol,

"squeaky wheel gets the grease."
88 TC with 93 GT 5.0 (.030 over), XE266HR Compcam, SVO 1.6 Roller Rockers, BBK underdrives, BBK 1 5/8" headers, 2 1/2" exhuast with Americian Thunder Flowmaster lers. Tremec 5 speed and 3.73's and alot of other goodies to list.....

my cougar did it all the time when it was new. every year when it got cold.  the throttle position sensor would go also. like clock work in october. used to wait for the sensor to go.  then take it to the dealer to get them both fixed at once. they said it was common. they just greased it up

Yep, pop off the C-shaped cover, tilt the wheel all the way down, and you should be able to see the contact pins and rings. Smear the grease in the grooves.

And for those who like pictures...
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.
