say about $600.00  then put in a 306 holley carbed motor........mmmmmmm...yeah... ok.

I'd give $1,800-$2,000. It's hard to find these cars in that good of condition. Plus you were going to ditch the 2.3 any ways ;)
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

I'd have to say $2K+ too. That is a really nice car. If I had the money,(and wanted a moonroof and red interior), and was standing looking at it, I could see paying $3K easy.
These cars are getting hard to find in nice shape.
It is worth whatever you are willing to pay.

i would pay $600-900 maybe even $1000+ if it did not have that red interior.

he isn't going to sit on it forever guys.  it is a mustang guy, he doesn't give a rats ass about anything else....  I will let you guys know this weekend if I go for it...

LOL np ron,i still have all the 5.0 conversion wires written down plus there still on here somewhere in my(shoulda been a sticky)post.
Actually he is a tbird guy,if you read some of his posts he mentions 
a bird in his avatar but i don't see it.

I would pay a decent amount for it. Just imagine what how much body and paint work most of these cars need. The cost would be more than his asking price.

Not for me, I do my own body and paint, If I get this one it will be a better incarnation of my '88.  same blue too.
