Hi cougar1car - what year is yours? I've made a couple for Cougars so far, one was an '88 and another was a '97 Thirtieth Anniversary. They haven't sent me pics of their install, but I do have the growling Cougar in silver:

Sorry I shoulda mentioned mine is a 88 Cougar. How long does this usually take to make and im sure you said it but why and how does this one hold up so much better than the stock one. Thank You

Chris - when someone asks me to make them a hoodliner it usually goes out the next day via Priority Mail.

The material is not a "sponge" like the original foam material, it's made out of aircraft bulkhead material that is resistant to underhood fluids, plut it won't rot and shred like the original.

Does your '88 have an underhood light?

It does im not sure if it works?? DOesnt have a bulb in it but it is there..

Looks like I'll be getting an original Turbo Coupe liner to make a template out of soon, sometime next week or so.

It's not installed, this one was shipped out last week - the owner will put it in later on. The silver decal is shown with the application tape and the backing, it's not installed yet either, that's up to the owner to decide where it goes.

Hi Vantage08 - by all means, I can do any car, I just need a template made from the original to do it - it's very easy to do and involves a shower curtain from a dollar store like "Dollar Tree". Contact me via e-mail and I can send you the procedure. Let me know of you need a decal; right now I don't have anything for the Pontiacs.

I can offer liners for the 2002 through 2005 Thunderbirds as well.

Has anyone ordered a hood liner from Gonzo lately? I emailed him last week asking if I could get one and haven't heard back yet.
