hows the turning on those i heard they started to get worse as they got to the newer trucks.

Can you explain this?

My '92 has steering like any other '87-'96 F Series truck I've ever been in...and I've been in several.

Steering doesn't feel bad at all for a full size truck, hell it doesn't feel any worse than my Thunderbird, even (that thing has a pretty pathetic turning radius)

And that proves what?  That the Dodge got the jump on the Ford?  The driver made the difference in that one.....

Thats what i was thinking the ford guy just mashed the pedal the first time and the second time it was a lot closer, but he had some wheel hop or truck hop :D.

The turning radius is smaller on the older ones. My 86 4x4 can turn sharper than my moms 95 regal.

I havent driven an 87-96 but my neighbor said mine turned sharper than his 88.

Hello

Watch out for cylinder #8 dosent crack.  Thats the reason they quit making them.  Poor cooling and oil on that cylinder.  Thats what happen to me.  Make sure the injector pump is timed correctly.  Nice truck I would have jumped on it also.  In Canada some of the 93-95s had powerstroke signs on them.
