So I bought another T-bird.....

To replace my Buick:D . I picked it up today. Runs great and the price was right ($2,000). It's a 95 3.8 V6 with power windows, locks, a power driver's seat, and am/fm cassette. Only thing that doesn't work is the A/C but it just needs a couple of O rings and some R134A (I'll take car of it in the spring). Check out the mileage ;)

No it's just the lighting. The dealer had a carfax for it and it has a clean title. Frame is straight as can be. I'm actually the second owner :D

Lou -  Maybe next year we can see you and your new :birdsmily:  at CatJam? Looks like with the low mileage it could make it there. lol Dan :burnout:

I would bring the 88 T-bird if I went. It's a much nicer car in person than the 95;) The problem is getting time off/having enough money to spare to go that's all:hick:

Oh and a few observations about the two T-Birds:

1. Both my 88 and 95 have a very similar ride.
2. The 95 out handles the 88 hands down.
3. The 88 is a brute compaired to the 95. It's just a hell of a lot more fun to drive:D
4. The 3.8 accelerates about like my old 93 Buick V6. However it leaves you wanting for power. That's not a problem in the 88:evilgrin:

88 Cougar XR-7...5.0HO, T-56, and much more
85 Thunderbird 30th...#2471, 29k, all original and might actually stay that way

How hard does it shift? My 96 is a monster when it upshifts.

Really I barely even notice it shift. The AOD in my 88 actually seems more responsive, then again the motor in the 88 is a hell of a lot stronger, which could contribute to that :burnout:
