Loud A$$ fan

My 88 Blue max is bone stock. No exhaust mods yet or anything so the loudest thing in the engine bay is that ed belt driven fan.  Io want it gone, i might want a twin turbo hand shifted car but those are wants.  I need to get rid of that fan help me.  What would i need belts, dual electric or big single, etc.  I just want that thing to shut up until i can do my ehaust.

It depends on wether you want to go to electric or stay with belt driven. The clutch fan on my car is loud aswell, its all you can her till the engine gets up to about 3000 then it finally drowns it out a bit. I was thinkin about goin to electric and I seem to remember tauruses havin a large one but I never really looked into it.

use a lincoln mark viii fan....

its a common mod for the mustang guys. i guess it puts out almost as much as an expensive aftermarket fan...

if you use that mark 8 fan, make sure you got the power for  it because it uses alot. most mustang guys do a 3g upgrade before hand.

anyone got the link to ...............

10secondtbird?  or something like that.  He had a pretty cost effective way by using a couple electric fans so both superchargers and the large radiator would work out.
