Fox Greedy

My daughter is finally going to buy a new car for herself.  So, I'll get the 86 Bird that she's never paid me for.

It's got a few options and a few problems.

It's got tilt, console, PW, PDL and a fantasticly good condition tan cloth interior and no cracks in the dash and a rebuilt tranny.

The problems are it doesn't seem to want a new radio.  Any new radio will drain the battery and all the lights dim when stepping on the brake.  Strange but true.

It won't idle steady.  It's constantly wavering between 750 and 1100 at idle. 3.8 V6.

Needs paint pretty bad.  It's sort of a gold color on the exterior.  A bit of rust starting at the bottom of the rear window.

I'm leaning toward keeping it.

I really don't need four cars.  Am I FOX Greedy?

I have serious parking problems.  Four is too many, three is just right.  Even though I think the 3.8 V6 is the piest:toilet:  engine ever built by Ford I keep getting them.  I must be crazy or stupid.  Although the new 3.8 engine in the 92 Bird runs great and feels like much more horsepower than it has.
