Anyone know the minimum amount of the yoke that needs to be engaged in the trans? This is not the stock driveshaft and it looks to be short. I will have to go out and actually measure it. Trans tunnel opening pics? Reply #5 – October 07, 2007, 06:26:32 PM I have to crush the rubber boot on the rear trans seal to get my shaft out. The yoke rides right up to that boot installed. Not sure what the minimum would be. Quote Selected

Trans tunnel opening pics? Reply #7 – October 07, 2007, 08:59:27 PM I'm pretty sure you want 3/4" - 1" of shaft left before bottoming out on the tail shaft. I know mine is a hair too deep as I only have about 1/2" of shaft left, but my driveshaft is also flat because the car is lowered so no worries about the shaft going in further. Quote Selected
