She comes home today...**UPDATE 11/7**

I know I've been lax on the whole act of posting on te forums but, she's finally coming home...Non running though...

Atleast she will be out of the side of my buddies house and under my car-port where I can actively work on her. It was hard to get across town to get to his house...

It'll be alot easier to do somehting people suggest right when they do, rather then try to remember it for next time I get a chance to go down there...

Cliff: Cougar is coming home today, I am exstatic that I can work on her finally.

I had to keep her there because of my father. She was not running at the time of me and my mothers moving so I had to keep her down the street at a buddies or loose her to the junkyard...

**UPDATE**

She is currently in my driveway and I KNOW she is as happy as I am!:D ;)

Exhaust manifolds are on.
Lower intake manifold is on.
Injectors are in.
Fuel rail is on and bolted down.
Valve covers are on.

I'm pretty excited, nearing the final stages of completion.
Upon looking at the wiring needed to be plugged in I became confident that she will be running soon.

Stay tuned...

**UPDATE**

Upper is on, got her to crank over, going back now...

**EDIT**

Dizzy is stabbed, belived it to be 180 out, spun her around, she popped a few times...
Wires are on...
It's weird, when I sit in the seat, I lose power to the chassis/dash/starter wont kick. If I turn the key though, she turns right over...

We'll it didn't work out.
Everything is together and I'm getting spark.
Doesn't seem like I'm getting fuel seeing as when i 'burp' the line i get a thick mist of fuel/air.

check vacum lines and see if you can find tdc for the distibutor.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Thanks for the advise man, but I've bene doing that and found it.

For those of you that have followed or even glanced at this thread:

I'm lost, She turns over, is getting spark and is getting constant fuel pressure.

It fires and pops, but it seems like it is only one cylinder. I swapped the Ignition module out with a KNOWN good one and it's the same as before.

I'm walking away for awhile and am looking to put her in storage or somewhere other then the house so Code Enforcement does nto get on my tail.

I remember back before she warped the heads, me and a buddy heard a knocking noise, he convinced me it was the water pump bearing, well it's not it. I might have to rip the bottomend apart and do rod/crank bearings for safety, although, I haven't been able to get a socket big enough on the crank pully and see if there is to much resistance to turn her over by hand. I think a bearing is shot because my starter relay tends to start smoking after a little bit of turning over.

I've never seen snow ^_^

Well, I put the cat up on a local forum just to see if anyone would be interested. If not many are, I'm converting to carb and doing a mild 302 or 306 build.
