Re: T-bird/Cougar SO engine performance possilities Reply #16 – February 23, 2005, 02:33:24 PM Nope, threads not dead yet! I've heard rumours of a performance cam for the SO engine. Is this so, and if it is who produces it and where could one be purchased? Also what are the gains (if any) that would be experienced? Quote Selected

Re: T-bird/Cougar SO engine performance possilities Reply #18 – February 23, 2005, 10:41:49 PM So i'm wondering (when am I not), if I change the heads over to e7te's and go with the proposed 1.7 roller rockers, would it make sense to change the lifters as well? I am thinking that roller lifters would be a good compliment to the rockers. However, i'm unsure what the effect/result would be. Would there be a any noticable improvement in HP over gas mileage? Also what would be a good spring match for the 1.7 rockers? Man this train of thought makes my head spin!!! Quote Selected

Re: T-bird/Cougar SO engine performance possilities Reply #20 – February 27, 2005, 12:08:42 AM A Crane guy told me on the phone that the 364211 roller cam will raise the operating range of the SO engine by about 500rpm, and is designed to not confuse the stock computer. Quote Selected
