need help guys....

Which would you take?

This one:
1986 Mustang GT

Or this one:
1988 LX Hatchback

Going to go grab one of them this weekend, cant decide on which one.  I am leaning towards the LX because it is closer and cheaper, but I love the '86's.  That was the first stang I owned.

I choose 4 eye.

the four eye comes with a parts car too.  So that is two stangs for the price of one.

:iagree: as long as there's a parts car involved, you can sell some parts to get ya down to $2300 anyway.

I love the 86, but if your going to start throwing bolt-ons on the car, go 88 (E7's, non flat top pistons, 11" brakes, etc....).
So you have a V8.......isn't that cute.

Only thing I would worry about with the 86 is the guy seems to be an idiot. he keeps contradicting himself. i wouldn't trust a word he says. Now if you SEE it with your own eyes thats different. But I would expect to get less than he makes it out to be.

"Fully loaded, no air,"
No air is NOT fully loaded!

"body & paint mint, needs touch up around sunroof,"
Needing touch up around the sunroof is NOT "mint"!

"
new alt. gas tank, wires, cap, rotor, new exhaust and brand new tires, also comes with Alpine CD deck, sub & amp. Set of American racing rims, runs, and drives excellent, undercarry is mint,
"

I would question every bit of the rest of this, Often times we call a junk yard  100k mile alternator  that works that we get to replace a faulty alternator  a "New Alt' as it is "new" to US, when in reality it's just a different old alternator.

Should be easy to get him down some..
