2007 is a bad year for Fords (AKA: Ranchero got Whacked)

Well I was leaving work today to go get some safety supplies when some ass in a Ford Ranger on his cell phone decided to move my bumper 6-8" to the right... The shop I work at is in a storage place and the nearby Dr's office has a tiny little parking lot so the employees park in front of where I work. Not too big a deal in a normal car, but most of you have seen the land yacht of a ranchero I drive. Anyway, I was inching up so I could see to make a left turn and next thing I know I hear locked up tires and then smash... He gets out of the truck on his phone and starts screaming at me tells whoever it is he'd call them back then continues yelling...

How fast was he going? Those skidmarks look pretty long for an alley speed.

He was definately speeding for the road but not going fast enough to set off the airbags. What's really messed up is he was taking a left in to the driveway across the street and just past me so he most definately should not have been going that fast.

Nothing a new bumper, supports, pass fender, corner lamp and those plastic pieces can't fix. I'm just glad I didn't paint the thing while I was in MA like I planned. Still gonna suck getting decent parts either way though...

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

Yes, I am stripping or selling (prefer to sell but whatever) a very well running 79 ranchero gt, silver with black stripes.  302/c4.  Let me know if you want anything from it, or the whole car itself.  If the a/c worked I would drive it out there in a heart beat, though work wont let me.  You can respond in here or email me at

 I like the Ranchero. Sucks to here about the accident. Did you call the Law? They should be on your side.
