which rims?

a friend of mine has a set of rims layin around that he has been tryin to sell forever. they are 17" rims from an IRS explorer. he PS'd em on my car in an attempt to sway me into buyin them.


or my current wheels, konig villians, same pic



my biggest issue with the explorer wheels is that they are only 7.5" wide.

I kinda like both. The explorer's are somethin different, but I do like whats on it now. I say slicks on the Exploders and keep the koing's on it

Well..exploder SUVs are pieces of ..their awful on gas and ride terribley..nothign but a waste of space!

The Konigs look 100% better. Plus they show off more behind the wheel...depending on what you have for eye candy in the brake department.

Is the explorer bolt pattern not different,as well as the offset????

Konigs all the way. The explorer wheels are neat, but not for a "race" car.
It's Gumby's fault.

cant put any decent slick(read used and cheap) on the ex.wheels. they are only 7.5" wide. i occasionally have access to used hoosier slicks, generally 275's. it would be tight even on my 8" konigs for those.

13"/11.65" sn95 cobra combo, none of it is pretty but i like to look at it anyhow. :evilgrin:

5x4.5" pattern. the offset on these is kinda high, but it matches my setup.
