Spring rate Q's

My buddy just got lowering springs for his 93 mustang GT.  Will his old ones lower my car?  Or affect my ride/handling?

Honda owners are like rabbits......they hide under your shed during the winter and then 30 of them come popping out around spring.

Front springs, probably not, although Fox front lowering springs work nicely (have a pair in the front on my car)

Rear springs are way too short.
