5.8/351 Hood Clearance

If I’m putting a 351 under my hood what kind of clearance issues am I going to have w/the hood it’s a turbo hood. And if I decide to go carb will I still have hood clearance issues.
Oyea I’m using ChuckW MM does any one know if and how much they lower the motor.

My 302 with the Trick flow intake and a 1 inch spacer clears with about another inch of room on my Turbo Coupe hood if that helps any.

My 302 also clears with a 1" spacer with room to spare. I have a pretty tall air cleaner on it also. I dont think you'd have any issues.

A 351 with GT-40 intake and no spacer just barely clears a stock hood... AFIK, no other intake will... 347 time...

I'm kinda leaning towards converting to carburetor. I’m thinking that should fit. Just don’t know how high I can go w/the intake

Anybody tried an Edelbrock truck lower with a Performer 5.0/Performer RPM 5.0 upper? It might be as short as the GT40 setup.
