I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

the truck is down at the moment, but i've got all the parts necessary to break 500 at the tire.

the only time slip that i've got is oooold from the stock 2.3 turbo in the 1/8th mile.  it ran a 9.3 @78mph.  with a 2.1 60' time.

block has been bored .030" over, stroked to a 2.5l, crower 5.5" rods, wiseco 8.0:1 dished pistons, total seal rings, ported and polished head, with racer walsh turbo roller cam, 1.89"/1.59" valves, holset hx35, gutted upper, knifed lower intakes, 72lb injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, kirban afpr.  i still need some things: intercooler, huber log, megasquirt or another one of the standalones... not sure which one yet, and i still havn't decided weather i'm going to run nitrous or not.

i ran alot of 9.3s 1/8ths with 2.0-2.1 short times in my ranger. the 1/4 time on those slips is mid 14's.

thats a big jump to 10s. im sure with 500rwhp, if you can hook it, youll get there. lets here what goodies you got sittin around!

those times were when the motor was bone stock save for 18psi, 15*advanced timing and 114 leaded race fuel. 

you know, gumby... it was a video of your truck racing wed turners supercharged 4.0 that got me into 2.3 turbos.  if it weren't for that, i'd probably have gone 302.

oh, yee of little faith... i know for a fact that it can be done... i've seen 542whp with those same mods and no nitrous.
