ive been asked a few times for an overall shot of the car at final ride height w/the new suspension. my photobucket is full of bits and pieces pics, but no really overall shots of the car. so now that the driveline is back in and the front clip is back on, i decided to jus put it up here.

jus one pic. sorry its kinda , but its tough to get an overall shot with the car in the garage. if i pushed it out, i wouldnt be able to get it back in there alone

Cool. It's rare to see the front wheels tucked in. Or at least it looks that way from this angle.

they are right on the inside of the fender lip w/the tabs for the inner fenders rolled up slightly. i hate the sticky-outty look on the front.

lots of measuring and ejumacated guesses went into makin these wheels fit "right." the setup i ended up with consists of a mustang tubular kmember, sn95 length LCAs, 94 spindles, and +40 offset 17x8's.

Question about your front track, Gumby:

From what I understand, SN95 a-arms are the same length as 87-88 tbird a-arms and 87-88 tbird k-members are the same width as fox stang k's. So, if I have a stock TC K-member and run fox stang a-arms, will I have the same width (rotor to rotor) as your setup?

The reason I ask is cause I have stock K in my 88 TC with 94 spindles and I was going to get fox stang a-arms. But idk if this will pull my wheels in enough and I may want to go with similar offset wheels as you, if it will give me similar result.

stop right there. the 87-88 tbird kmember is narrower than fox stang stuff.

no. see above. if you ran a stock kmember and fox arms you would be ALOT narrower than me.

currently you are narrower than my setup. fox arms will pull your wheels in more, but will also probly require you to use CC plates, and maybe slot the towers as well to get enough neg. camber.

83-86 tbird A arms and fox stang's are the same width. Which is what I'm planning on using on my 88. But mines gonna be sing the ground front to rear, lol. CC's will be a must.

Yeah, i know, I am getting CC plates.

As for the a-arms, I guess I don't remember what I researched... it's been a while since I've been able to get something finished up on this car. So, in this case, do you have any idea how much shorter the fox stangs are than my stock 88 TC arms? Thanks for the help... it's frustrating having to re-research all this!

ps: so the general experience is that even CC plates with this setup with require shock tower modding? And if I have to do this, what's a good way of measuring camber as I work so I know when I can stop and take it to the alignment shop (without cutting more than is needed)?

IIRC the magic number is 1.33"
