'87 Anniversary Edition October 22, 2004, 10:41:23 AM Hello All,I'm a longtime Ford, and Mustang nut. Just yesterday, a buddy of mine told me he knew some people that had an old Cougar for sale. I went to go look at it later on in the day, and it's a maroon/off white interior car. With gold looking wheels on it with the Cougar symbol on them.It has an EFI 5.0 motor in it, and I think it's a C-5 AOD tranny. It says Cougar 20th Anniversary on the outside, near the rear windows, and above the trunk, and above the Radio.Anyways, I started it up, and it's hard to start, but started up after a little cranking. HARD to keep running. It was throwing code 34 in KOEO, and Running it threw like 4 more, I'll check it again soon.Anyways, long story short, I got it for $400.00, tagged and inspected.Great looking site, I look forward to posting with you guys. Re: '87 Anniversary Edition Reply #5 – October 23, 2004, 10:05:47 PM 20th annyversarry rocks!!! :ies: I can't beleive how you guys pay your cars so cheap in US... :asshole: Is that because of Insurance cost? Here in Quebec, the worst driver with the worst DMV File (Drunk driving, Speeding etc) will pay 1500$/Yr max on a +10yo Car.... :flip: Quote Selected
