what plug is this???? 87-9? 5.0 June 16, 2007, 03:31:44 PM so i have this plug near the firewall where the evap is and i don't know if it's supposed to be plugged into something..... i know i have a 91 harness, but i found an 88 thunderbird at the junkyard with a 5.o and THE SAME plug... unfortunately, it was unplugged too (along with some other plugs there so i still don't know if it has a home..... anyway, if anyone with a 87-9? 5.0 can check theirs out for me and see if it has a home, i'd appreciate it a bunch..... it is a black 2 wire connector with a red wire and a white with red stripe (maybe pink) going into it.... the cpu IS giving the plug 12 volts, so that's what confuses me about it.... thanks for your help :) Quote Selected
what plug is this???? 87-9? 5.0 Reply #1 – June 16, 2007, 04:19:44 PM Looks like that could be the A/c pressure switch plug. Not sure of the wires to it. But that looks to be the right shape. That could also explain why there maybe getting 12v with the car on. Is the A/c selector in the A/c posistion. If not the A/c plug maybe the IAC. Quote Selected
