noobie... January 31, 2005, 05:42:47 PM I have an 84 Thunderbird with the TBI 302... I bought this car after I let my girlfriend drive my 86 302 t-bird and ended up in a utility pole. That silver beast was my only true love. Well, I don't have any pictures for ya, but i do plan on it soon.Heres my list of mods! (took about 3 months) Swapped the rear end *(8.8 open)4 wheel disc brakes with proportioning valve adjustment Duel exhaust w/ 4inch tipsSilverstar headlightsB&M AOD shift kitNew Struts up front, New shocks out backAnd the typical repairs... NEW! Waterpump, Alternator, Battery, Starter, Voltage regulator, Tires, Brakes all the way around, and a Fuel pump and filter.This is the car of my dreams, and when it's done, i'll be one happy teenager.Things i hope to finish before CatJam:Turbocoupe HoodRIMSLowering SpringsNew windshieldPaint & Body workTake my TBI and switch to a carburatorAnyway, I can't wait to get pix for ya, and i can't thank you enough for all the information on this site. I will snag a pic of it next time I'm at the J-yard. John and his new t-bird are the reason I have my cougar. Cruisin in his car is crazy pimpin and I just had to have it for myself.
