noobie...

I have an 84 Thunderbird with the TBI 302...  I bought this car after I let my girlfriend drive my 86 302 t-bird and ended up in a utility pole. That silver beast was my only true love.  Well, I don't have any pictures for ya, but i do plan on it soon.

Heres my list of mods! (took about 3 months)

Swapped the rear end *(8.8 open)
4 wheel disc brakes with proportioning valve adjustment
Duel exhaust w/ 4inch tips
Silverstar headlights
B&M AOD shift kit
New Struts up front, New shocks out back

And the typical repairs... NEW! Waterpump, Alternator, Battery, Starter, Voltage regulator, Tires, Brakes all the way around, and a Fuel pump and filter.

This is the car of my dreams, and when it's done, i'll be one happy teenager.

Things i hope to finish before CatJam:

Turbocoupe Hood
RIMS
Lowering Springs
New windshield
Paint & Body work
Take my TBI and switch to a carburator

Anyway, I can't wait to get pix for ya, and i can't thank you enough for all the information on this site.  It's been, and will continue to be a great help!

I remember him doing burnouts in the wendys parking lot when we worked there.  That old t-bird was rough looking!  I will snag a pic of it next time I'm at the J-yard.

John and his new t-bird are the reason I have my cougar.  Cruisin in his car is crazy pimpin and I just had to have it for myself.

That 8.8 is there because we could never get the gear changes right with the 7.5. :grinno:

Can't wait to go to cat jam.

:grinno:  Those pics were hanging on his wall!  John was going to give me the car for free but his dad said he couldn't at the last minute.  , would have made a good donar car for the cougar.
