My friend is on crack Reply #16 – June 06, 2007, 05:04:07 PM all that was mentioned before was a escape, v6 explorer, cougar 4 banger, or a vw golf 4 banger Quote Selected
My friend is on crack Reply #17 – June 06, 2007, 05:47:23 PM Then that should narrow down the choices for vehicle #1, daboss . I would recommend googling specs for those vehicles and seeing what fits.@88sportcoupe: Nope Quote Selected

My friend is on crack Reply #20 – June 06, 2007, 10:21:42 PM ooh ooh i know vehicle 1 my friend has an '05 escape and those are the exact figures he told me! ~200 horse and 193 torque. but 4400 lbs!!!!???? he said his was like 3300 or sumthin. ??? Quote Selected
My friend is on crack Reply #21 – June 06, 2007, 10:28:12 PM I found a spec sheet that said 1987kg curb weight, which is 4380lbs.http://www.internetautoguide.com/car-specifications/09-int/2003/ford/escape/index.htmlActually, that might say 1443kg on the curb weight...hard to tell. That's 3,182lbs. He also said that this vehicle kept up with a brand new Stang which is 3,600lbs and 300hp.If Vehicle #1 is in fact 3,200lbs (which is pretty impressive for its size), then I'll give it high 15s/low 16s. Vehicle 2, however, I still stand by my original mid 16 at best. Quote Selected
My friend is on crack Reply #22 – June 06, 2007, 10:40:06 PM That page says 1987kg on the gross weight... curb weight says 1443kg... which is about 3200lbs.my guess for Vehicle 2 is something like a taurus, or grand am, sunfire, etc...though a 98 mustang v6 weighs 3065lbs... but has something like 145hp?this 03 escape weighs 3065lbs as well... and has 127hphttp://335.carsite.com/index.cfm?page=4&INVENTORY_ID=1632412 Quote Selected

My friend is on crack Reply #25 – June 07, 2007, 01:11:47 AM There are lots of vehicles that came with the same rear end ratio as mine :) Quote Selected
My friend is on crack Reply #27 – June 07, 2007, 01:52:23 PM 99-02 Cougar: QuoteThe 1999–2002 Cougars were available with two engine options, the 2.0 L Zetec 4-cylinder engine with 130 horsepower, and the 2.5 L Duratec V6 with 170 horsepower.Curb weight listed is right at 2900 pounds, but my wife's 2000 is listed at just over 3000 on the registration. That's why my 1st guess for Veh.#2 was a 4 cyl. 99-02 Cougar. As for Veh#1 the motor specs screamed 4.0 v6. Weight seemed a little high for an Escape, but I'm unsure how much they weigh so I added the Explorer as an option as well. Quote Selected
My friend is on crack Reply #28 – June 07, 2007, 02:50:02 PM 99-02 Cougar is a very good guess, but not quite it. Quote Selected
