It's only plastic, rubber, and metal.Nothing to it.I started with the Sport which was horrible as well.Remember, every single time you swap a hose,a clamp,or anything else, you're one step closer to being finished. It's just a huge puzzle.

Sheesh. That sucks hardcore bro. Soundin' like ya prolly should have just ripped out it ALL and re did it completely. That is kinda surprisng though, that they're THAT rusted. Must have somehow attracted moisture into the fluid and rusted from the inside out. Bleh.

I've been through the same thing a few years back.
I also started in the back and worked my way to the front. Not by choice.
did the same in an 88 e-250. with brakes and transmission lines also.
take a deep breath and replace the rest. its better than finding a bad line coming off a thruway exit.
It'll be worth it. and probably won't be the first and last time you do it to a car.

hell i have over 1500 in the car thats what i paid for the car, and parts.
The car is rusted front and back, not center.... Its weird as hell. I knew the lines needed to be replaced its just $$$$ I dont have. I wanted to fix problems and drive it. So much more problems have arised then i was told, but thats cause my dumbass bought a car that sat for 4 years. I'm to far in to quit now, but I can only do so much on what I know, and the limited tools i have. Hell i have at least another 250 in tools to work on it.
Today just pissed me off, I JUST ADDED 3 bottles of fluid and it dumped it all out. I have no room under it jsut on jackstands i dont think to get the lines the blew out. You should see how bad the shiznit i pulled of this car was, all four shocks had NO pressure in them, all the calipers were FLACKING massive amounts of metal, rotors were rotted, brake lines, exhaust fell off, i mean It was worse then it looked. Idk I fell in love with it and thought I could do it... But like u said at least it happened now in my drive way. I just hope i get the checks for the bike parts im selling cause I need to buy 2 more 8 foot sections of line, 4 more bottles of fluid, and the assorted fittings and adapters.

What I found after I got out, it leaked MORE out after..

the way it sits right now! I love how good it looks far away til u see the rotted fenders missing trim, ughhh

I havnt givin up. Its just very discouraging putting in a total of 9 hours doing rear brake lines and the calipers, driving the car and being happy it stops, then BOOM, back to the beginning with no brakes.... Gonna say F IT this time, replacing ALL the front lines, not gonna patch anything... As much of a pain in the ass it will be, Its a matter of when now, not if. And I dont want when to be when im flying down the street.... There goes all my savings for the desperately needed new tires, and 5 speed swap...

for shiznits and giggles I need for the car to be on the road:
Fuel lines installed(yes 32v they are STILL not done...)
horn button for a 88 mustang steering wheel
h pipe removed and reinstalled so it doesnt leak
flow tubes cut to length, lers installed and hangers made for lers and tail pipes.
Brake lines repaired
front calipers installed
alignment
dew wipes installed
door lock actuator installed
and window motor installed.
I think thats it... So its almost there!!
