From where on internet I can find and purchase outer rocker panels or outer rocker panel skins for Mercury Cougar 1986

Edit: Are rocker panels from Mustang fox body same as from Cougar ??

Mustangs are different,although,I've wondered if they could be extended to fit.I'm sure they could.I am asuming you mean the plastic/fiberglass mouldings.As for where to get them made for our cars,I'm not really sure.They pop up on E-bay from time to time,and at the salvage yards if you look hard,and,you're lucky.

Rocker panel skins do not exist for 83-88 fo bird's or cougars,had this problem with my last bird and not even a listing was found by me or many parts/bodyshops.
Have to be custom fabricated unfortunatley.

I was wondering if he means the actual rockers.If they are rusted,can't you have some new metal welded in?

That's what i was saying,if the rockers are rotted they must be custom made there are no aftermarkets available.

Yes, my rockers are rotted and looks like big welding and customizing work is waiting me.
Had little hope, when I find from net rocker panels for fox Mustang and visually they was same on picture.

I've heard a rumor that SN95 stang skirts are close. Any hope of modding those or is that a dead end.

Now i don't know if they really have them but i just found this website that lists rocker panels for 77-93 thunderbirds. It may be worth looking into, but i didnt see anything

Around here there's a sheet metal shop that will make you a set of rocker panels on a brake for $60 a pair. You bring your car in, they make a profile of the shape (using a piece of wire), and they bend you up a set.
