belt? May 01, 2007, 09:26:01 PM im finally gonna try and get some things done to my car to make it faster, the small stuff i have done isnt cutting it anymore. i plan on getting a whole new cat-less h-pipe exhaust system, but i also wanna get underive pulleys and bypass the airpump. after looking at old threads i read that i need a 93in. belt if i only bypass the pump. would the new underive pulleys make a difference in length? if so does anybody run these and can tell me the length i need?http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_38324_-1also, i figure i might as well go ahead and do everything i want and can afford all at once, cus theres no telling when im gonna be motivated enough to do this again. does anyone know if an intake spacer is worth the money and time? i already have a HO intake and tb, would this help? its not expensive, but i dont think i'd get much from it, idk if anyone thinks its worht the effort.http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_758845_-1_11935anyother cheap, easy mods i havent done already that you all can think of would also be appritiatedthanks,Keith Quote Selected

Ford Racing underdrive pulley kit and smog pump bypass. Made several trips to AutoZone before I got a belt that fit right. I don't remember what length the belt is and it's not maked on the cardboard wrapper. What I got is a Duralast #760K6 belt. Quote Selected

There are still companies that do things that make sense? Whoda thunk it? I suspected that was the case but I didn't want to give out wrong information if it wasn't. The part number I knew. :) Quote Selected
belt? Reply #5 – May 02, 2007, 12:21:04 PM I deleted a/c and air pump by turning the tensoner about 30 degrees counter clockwise and drilling another mount hole in the bracket to mount it. thenn I built my own idler off spare bracekt peices form a/c and smog to come up with alternator/waterpump/powersteering combo. and my belt is 80 7/8" Quote Selected

belt? Reply #10 – May 03, 2007, 03:38:48 PM You probably wont notice anything from the spacer.Put an electric fan on it, that helps too. Quote Selected
