Finally took advantage of the decent weather...

And spent the day sanding prepping and painting the bumper trim on the bird.  Looks WAY better now. here a some pics....

what kit did you use to do that my 85 bird needs t have that done to it -yours looks great

Same thing happened to me 3 or 4 years ago with the rear bumper looks good its well worth the time to repaint that black again.

Hey, look at that, Wal-Mart has a canopy tent thingy for $59. I wonder if my car would fit under there...


Good job on the respray. I love doing that kind of stuff. It's incredible how much nicer the car looks when the little annoyances like that are touched up. I resprayed the lower portion of the front bumper and my door pillar trim on my '86 last summer due to peeling paint and it made it look like a whole new car.

Good work.Sometimes those small little jobs make a huge difference.

Thanks guys, been very busy these past few days getting the body work done as well.  Planning to paint it very soon, gotta get it all done ASAP.
