Silly Stang

Hehe, I see this around school a lot, and it makes me smile every time.  I mean, since we always seem to be jacking thier parts... i guess it makes sense.

My older brother use to have a 88 LX 5.0L with those same TC wheels on it. Looked sharp when it was lowered a bit.

There's a very nice black Capri around here with polished TC wheels. It looks SHARP, except he put a Mustang nose and hatch on it...

Weaksauce.  I think that the Capris looked nice as they were.  Call me crazy, but I like the bubble.

Jerk probably stripped a nice TC of the motor/suspension/wheels for that stang. I hate that.

My buddy did that for his car. I actualy gave him some of the parts to finish his car. I wouldn't mess with it. The thing handles like a slot car.

You also have to remember that car probly came with pony rims on it. He may have curbed it and found out the TC rims were cheaper to buy an entire set than one pony rim.

It's not a 5.0 car, it didn't have Pony's.

I don't mind when they JY one together using a rusted/totaled TC, but there are FAR too many webpages with guys showing really nice TC's that they hack up for Stangs.

Then thats the nicest set of fake duals I've seen.

Didn't all 5.0 Stangs have the 5.0 badge on the front fender?

And those duals could've easily been put on later.

Not everyone likes the 5.0 on the fender. I had friends that removed them.

Point is neither one of us know if its a 2.3, 3.8, or a 5.0. I was just making a point that it could have had pony rims on it being the right year and all.

With how ugly that paint is I highly doubt he took the time to remove emblems properly. Far more likely that it never had them as I see no evidence of them. That and it look suspiciously like a certain TF member's car.

That's definitely no 5.0. If it was it wouldn't have ghetto tailpipes like that. Those are some ler shop job with cheapo chrome tips on the end.

I never checked to see if it's a 5.0 or not.  I'll see next week.
