Thats where the Rebalencing would come into effect and like i said you would have to enlongate the frame......its jobless improvising, i have nothing better to do so i look at it and try to make it better. :dunno:

theres no way to "elongate" the chassis to make the balance better, elongating the chassis is going to really hurt handling, also think about how much more a V8 weight than a honda engine

i dont care if this is a ford board, if you think ford is better than anything to roll on this earth, the honda engine is better in this application
It's Gumby's fault.

also, you could intercool the thing, and add maybe 3-4 more psi, and the thing would FLY, boosting power to probably up to 350hp, that little gain would be insane in that little thing

They've also got the Deronda F400 over there. Not quite as fast, with 210hp and 225ft/lbs from a 1.8T Audi DOHC 4. Still 0-60 in under 4, but they're also working on a 300hp version to come. 100mph in well under 10 seconds is impressive. Turbo spools from 2000-6600rpm, so lag and surge wouldn't really be all that big of an issue either.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

The trick would be to not change the motor, but to somehow make it even lighter. I'm sure at that weight 100 lbs would probably be worth more than a 1/10th. Perhaps a little more boost if thats even plausible. That motor is probably real close to it's pain threshold already

Lighter and faster in a Honda... stickers!!!!

I think the only thing I'd do is at some sort of wind deflector.

you cant... the thing behind the head is an air intake. You'd be robbing the motor of some air.

I think if the R&D worked at it they could make something that wouldn't really cause interference. Perhaps even improve the flow.
