Like I said, 300hp Supercharged Civic engine. I don't think you could possibly squeeze any more out of it, short of spray it. Besides that, everything on there is pretty much race spec. I don't think upgrades are really an option.

Well thats where your wrong Old raven i think that any one of us if 1. we had the money to buy it and 2. Had the money to have it retro fitted with a newer better engine like say maybe a smaller ford v8 like a 3.4 that they used in the 95 and up SHO's.

There is your body the 4 rails that span the body enlongate them and shove a small block v8 in there have the thing reblue printed and balanced and you have your self an insanley fast car......gokart.

EIther of those engines (by the way the 3.4 SHO V8 was a 96+ item) are both much more heavy and would throw off the weight balance.  Good luck getting it to fit in the space the honda engine takes up, too.

Thats where the Rebalencing would come into effect and like i said you would have to enlongate the frame......its jobless improvising, i have nothing better to do so i look at it and try to make it better. :dunno:

It already IS insanely fast. Faster than anything any of us will drive, at any rate. And with the amount of engineering that went into this thing to get it to accellerate, brake, and handle the way it does, it would be a mistake to mess around with it. Why do you need a V8 that doesn't even make 300hp (235hp, actually) but weighs a lot more than the Honda and takes up more space? It's designed to run with a small motor with massive hp/L. You'd throw out a power to weight ratio that took some serious automotive R&D to perfect, and also ruin the weight distribution and make it handle far worse.

Sorry man, in this case, V8 is not the almighty answer.

It beat a CBR600RR on the track by four seconds, and is second only to the Enzo. After two minutes in that thing, I guarantee you would be wholey satisfied. 0-62 in 2.9. :ies:

The trick would be to not change the motor, but to somehow make it even lighter.  I'm sure at that weight 100 lbs would probably be worth more than a 1/10th.  Perhaps a little more boost if thats even plausible.  That motor is probably real close to it's pain threshold already

I know you can pull more out of a Honda than that, but not without tossing reliability out the window. This thing will rip everything on the street a new arsehole every day, for years. I love that.

I think the only thing I'd do is at some sort of wind deflector. There must be a lot of drag. If his face is doing that, Imagine what the seats are doing at that speed. Nothing big, but to at least be able to breathe when you're driving at speed.
