woo woo a ford GT Reply #7 – March 23, 2007, 01:56:23 AM Sweet rides! We got a few running around out here. Not too common but you see them from time to time. Yellow/Black, White/Blue, Red/WhiteExotic (if you want to call it as such) of the day was a black with silver stripes '07 or '08 GT500. They have a bit of kick but still kinda heavy in the nose.Bryan Quote Selected
woo woo a ford GT Reply #8 – March 23, 2007, 09:04:24 AM nose heavy? the engine is in the frickin rear...oh, you meant the GT500 "shelby". not the GT. yep. theres a few of each around here as well. the gt500 is nics. the regular mustang gt should have gotten the nose from that thing. the regular mustang looks too castrated. the shelby just isnt enough car to justify the cost imo. the ford gt is one hell of an eye catcher. Watched a couple of vids on it and in one he almost takes it out into the guardrail on the dragstrip. Serious mean horsepower. And as to the nose heavy comment, yeah, I was refering to the Shelby GT500. Just happened to meet up with one at a stop sign yesterday. Sorry for the confusion. The Ford GT also has its own aluminum block 5.4 while the GT500 settles for the iron block from the truck. Makes a difference. (To say nothing of the location.)Bryan Quote Selected
woo woo a ford GT Reply #11 – March 24, 2007, 12:13:39 AM It's like my dad always said: There are just some cars that aren't practical. Ones that are 6" off the ground or you need to get in it from a mechanics dolly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQx6KOfCClghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3z5pqT7lfuE Quote Selected

woo woo a ford GT Reply #13 – March 24, 2007, 08:02:00 AM I sat in one a few years back, for a Supercar its quite comfortable. The dealership that my mom and dad got their cars also had one Yellow on Black, they also had a fire while the car was there but the GT recieved no damage. Quote Selected

It IS the guy on the net. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxqkJu9QSLAI actually thought you were referring to a different video with a red one......FYI That road in the beginning of the vid is straight and fairly untravelled, but has seen better days as far as upkeep......
