:*( Sad day here.

This is the only pic i have available of my car right now, my old sig. Some of you may remember from Cougarnuts under this name or 90CougarLS. I haven't been around lately I'm keeping my self busy and all. just though I would stop in and say HI, along with the fact that i blew a rod today. I checked my oil 3 days ago and it was fine. Today I'm driving to pick up an application and i hear something that sounds like an exhaust leak. I head on home and pop the hood. I took out the spotlight and shined under the hood, nothing, so then I am like, shhh, to myself and it just keeps on getting worse. I was like o shiznit, this aint good, thats sounds like a rod. I call out my dad and call up my uncle, sure shiznit, it's a rod. Check the oil tonight, it's lower than a sunny beach. I don't think it's been above 0 for the last week. Make sure you check your earl and check it often people.

For 1700 bro, take that money and buy a 5.0l or a TC.
Money much better spent than on a 3.8l.

unless it is better money spent on a 3.8 sc. Ill bet you could find a super changer and an older 3.8 block and but the two tegether.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

well i got an extremely part time job at an auto place shoveling for now. I am calling up the owners brother who runs a different auto place and seeing if i can get a little job there, so money might start coming in a little so i might be able to afford something one of these days.
