Question from a stupid French Canadian!!!.

So, I'm not very good in English, But I try My best to understand and write as My best too...

But some abbreviations is not in My "dictionnaire", such as:

IMHO: I guessed say "In My Honest Opinion", but I'll want to have the right explaination.

IIRC: I don't know what is that...

And some others I don't remember I read here, please...

First, I never learn Englisg at the school (6th primary), I learned By reading the book myself, like Electronics Today, ect, and By the mechanicals books, and I learned More on the forums like that...

The explainations of the mentionned above will be greatly appreciated...

Thank You so much...

Dom.

Thank You for Your good words, but I guess I have some issue in English, I'm the only owner and a big fan of a fox T-Bird in Quebec, probably one of the last four eyed decent one in the Province...

BUT, I know when I have some questions or problems I ask Here and I always found a solution here, I like this board a lot, and some great info on Your site too...

When My Bird will be finished this spring, painted, and all, I'll make a decal of this site and coolcats too and stamp on the rear quarter windows of My bird for sure, trust Me:hick:

You're My family to discuss of the fox body ford cars, and I'll try to help another at My best too...

Your words is appreciated,

Have a nice Day,

Dom.

I guess one thing we could do to help is edit your post so you could look over it, see how the words are actually organized in English grammar.

Uh-oh, the internet isn't the best place to learn proper usage of the Engrish language;)

IIRC can also be, "If I recall correctly" and IMHO can also be "In my humble opinion" (that's what I've always read it as)

Okay, I see IIRC between two persons on the board recently, buy I guessed it was a joke between his, but I guesed wrong, it was real IIRC (If I Remember Correctly), thanks for the update...

For My English writing, so, I'll do My best as possible, But I guess it's not fine as You say, some help I guessed to write on this board was very well explained in My first language, oh well!!!...

For the English people don't write/speak inEnglish like Me is the same thing in French, especially where I read some poeple in France, Oh My God!!!!, I never see the people don't write the French bad than that...

It's a similar thing in all speaking/wrining I guess...

Thanks,

Have a nice Day,

Dom.

I do this on 1/2 post I write, When I re-read My post I see a mispelling, or a mistyping and go to the edit as well, and sometimes when I have a "blank" or dont know "how write" a word, I'll go to the French/English website to remain Me this word/the word...

But I have a limit to learn "by the book", and re-read My posts, and keep in Your mind, My education is very limited, I was quit the school at 12 years, and after that I learned a lot by myself, in French and English...

In French I'm near perfect, but around 15 Years ago when I started to discuss with another in English, this was a different matter...

But I continue to grow, and It's not easy cauz I'm not in Montreal, I'm in a suburban, where all people speak only in French, except some people...

I guess I writed a lot for his post, :hick:

Now I'll return to see another post, and see another comments, after that, I'll start to remove all chrome molding on My bird, and some other stuff to prepare to the new paint, Yehaaaaaaaa!!!...

Have a Nice Day,

Dom.
