83 fuel tank sending unit Reply #1 – January 30, 2007, 04:20:58 PM If a pump/sending unit from a 88 TC will fit I got one of those, it works fine. It would go for cheap, it worked when car was last on the road a few years ago, but can still be jumpered and does cycle. It only has 45,000 miles on it. Say like 20 shipped, if you can use it.Dave Quote Selected
83 fuel tank sending unit Reply #2 – January 30, 2007, 05:38:26 PM the reason im lookin for the 83 one is because they used a pump ON the engine with some vehicles and id like to use the proper sending unit and pick up for a carburated set up instead of tearing it apart and putting it back in hoping it works lol... so the 88 TC wouldnt work if you understand what i mean Quote Selected
83 fuel tank sending unit Reply #3 – January 30, 2007, 06:44:40 PM the diameter of the sender on the 83 is smaller than the 86+ tanks so if you are going carberated you will need the whole tank. i tried this already Quote Selected
