good 302 truck motor.. other misc stuff..

other than the motor i dunno what i could use off of it.. what kinda rearend does it have?  i suppose a column shift auto for a tranny?  being that the nose is so short is there some stuff that might benefit a 5.0 that came stock on those vans?

Engine pullys/front end of th emotor would be a good expirement for our cars.

the rear is leaf spring..

the motor is the same as most 5.0 truck motors.

and yes.. its column shift

whats the firing order on that 5.0?  is it a 351w firing order?

what would you guys pull off this thing other than the pullys and such said up there?  i mean i never worked on fullsized older vans like that, only rinky  minivans from about the same era.  but how much would you let go of that 302 for anyhow?

Scott- Ill pop the hood and look tomorow when its light out.

hrm, complete 302 with harness and all that jazz computer and all.. i'd say $400. it ran good, when it was parked.

the heads, maybe cam, strong bottom end. yeah.

yeah, Im snaggin most of the lighting inside it.. ill find somewhere to put that stuff.

it has 2 radios.. and a bunch of other stuff.

Well, the pullys would be a keeper any radio crop like speakers headunits, ect, the whole motor, and maybe the rguts out of the rear if it's an 8.8  The housing is different then ours ( as you know) but 8.8 ring/gears/carrier are still useable as a spare if you have an 8.8 IIRC.
