Ever have one of those days? Long Rant

So I decide to go to work and get some OT so I can buy some goodies for my car. Then I decided that i was going to take my wife's car and drop it off for an oil change. I work for Bridgestone/Firestone, so I got a deal for a $4.99 oil change, otherwise I would have done it myself. So I am sitting at work and the phone rings. I figured they were calling to tell me my oil change was done, instead they said "We can't get the car to start. Have you ever had any trouble with it?" I reply "No". They then tell me that it started up fine, they pulled it into the garage did the oil change lowered the lift, and now the car won't start. They then proceed to tell me that they will try to figure out what the problem is. I wait about half an hour walk to the main lobby, look across the street and see the car sitting in the parking lot. Figuring they got it fixed, I walked over there to pick it up. I walk inside tell them I am there for the Grand Prix and they tell me they still are not able to get it to start, and that they pushed it to the parking lot to make room for other cars of people who were waiting. I wait for about a half an hour and tell them I am going back to work and to call me when they figure something out. About and hour and a half later the phone rings. The tell me the problem is a broken wire going to the crankshaft sensor. They then proceed to tell me it is going to take a couple of hours, and be expensive to fix because they have to replace the ENTIRE engine wiring harness and find a dealer that has one. I ask "so there is no way the car will start with the broken wire?" They say "No". So I say "Then it is not my fault the wire is broken so I will not be paying for the repair. Since the car started fine after I dropped it off, and would not start after your mechanic worked on it, then it is his fault the wire is broke and he should pay for the repair." They said that they would fix it at no cost to me. I dropped the car off at 9:00 this morning and they didn't have it fixed until after 4. I got tired of waiting on them, so I had my brother drive the 45 minutes to my work to pick me up and take me home at 2, then drive the 45 minutes back home. Now I have to go back tomorrow to pick my car up because I couldn't get a ride up there tonight.

Then when I got home, I walked in the garage and saw the blackout from my 'Bird laying on the floor. So I go over and look and see that after 10 years the little plastic clip holding it in place broke. So now I have to buy another set just to get the clip. Not a good day.

That would be the most important thing to me. Yeah, it's bad luck that they busted it in the first place but the fact that they will fix and not charge you makes it worth it. Just as long as they don't botch anything else up.
