Are vent windows rare or something? The '84 TC I had a few years ago to pull the engine out of had vent windows.

I found an ad for an '83 TC the other day with Motorsport ground effects, grill, and rear spoiler and lowered 2 inches in Kentucky around Cincinatti for $3500. http://ww2.collectorcartraderonline.com/details.php?adId=adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/ad-cache/10/0/0/86948900.htm

I looked at the small pic, and the light shining through from the other side made it appear to me that there was the cross bar there. So I need a good:nkhk:

I'll say one thing here...

I'm currently on my third Fox body Cougar, but this '86 is the first with vent windows.
I think I have enjoyed them more than any other option on the other cars, which is hilarious because they have been around for so long!
In fact, I enjoy them enough that I have gutted the entire AC system from the car. Even when it's in the mid 90s with full humidity, the vent windows do their job well.

I wouldn't say they are rare but like Zach said, they are neat to have.  "Rare" is overused in our hobby and I would be reluctant to use that for these windows as often as I see them however, that is the first time I remember seeing vent windows with non-power windows.  Maybe to say "they aren't common..."
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"

Yeah, I also want that car.  If a bank would give me a loan I'd buy it instead of fixing mine up.  The best part about it, is the OBO.  I'd give 3k for it, if the interior is as nice as the outside.
84 TC 302 -5.0L/t5/7.5 locking rear and a 3.45 gear, Edelbrock Intake, Aluminum Heads, Edlebrock 65mm Throttlebody, Edlebrock Cam, 24lb injectors & MAS Air Sensor calibrated via chip,  BBK headers, Catback H pipe, Magnaflow lers

Seriously, then just slap an 87/88 hood and intercooler on it and call it good.

I've seen some more detailed pictures and here's a perfect example of low mileage meaning a lot less then condition/options.

Looks like a base car with age issues.

IMO $3300 is a -far- stretch...

Is that the correct placement for the emblem on the front fender?

For the New England crowd, though a bit on the pricey side. Still, 25,500mi.

My race car is an '83 Heritage with vent windows.  I thought they all had them, but now that I looked at the '83 new car literature, they don't show one at all!  Strange, what!  Fred
