"He Was A Quiet Man" with Christian Slater.  Excellent dark drama.  Not as good as Fight Club, but still a good 9/10.

I completely agree. Went and saw it at the theatre and even now my wife & I agree that it was one of the best movies we have seen this year.
Jack Black was perfect for the role.
Even if you don't have kids, it's worth seeing.

After several years of nagging I finally got my wife to sit down and watch Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Rings on Saturday night. She is now hooked and we watched The Two Towers on Sunday night. We will finish it up this weekend.

What want to see Gran Torino! I am a huge fan of Eastwood directed movies, Mystic River tops my list. Actually I want to see all of those you just listed.

Last movie I saw was Micheal Clayton - 5/5. I'm such a sucker for those political/corporate crime dramas.

I went to the movies today around 2pm.  I was going to see Gran Torino but the whole theatre was full of blue hairs and it smelled!  Imagine 100+ of them in one room.

Anyway I returned my tickets and got underworld tickets.  It was alright but mostly because we saw it on the ultra screen.
