Re: headlights Reply #1 – January 07, 2005, 08:35:43 PM Out of the inside? Is there a lot of condensation or is the plastic just yellowed? You may be able to wet sand the outside w/ 800 grit, 1000 grit, then polish off w/ rubbing compound. That's how I got mine to look shiney and new. My arm was killing me for a few days, but it was worth it. If it's on the inside, I'm not sure how to help you out, though.... Quote Selected

Re: headlights Reply #6 – January 08, 2005, 09:07:18 AM Use a putty knife and pry the lense from the housing. You will find that once you get the factory seal pealed off, the lense pops loose from the housing with little persuasion. Then you will see if it is the inside of the lense or the silver finish inside. If it is the lense clean it a best as possible. There are some decent plastic lense cleaning products out there. If it is the silver finish, I'm not sure if you can try to spray it with that "chrome" paint. Never tried it. Even if it is only the lense, you still should clean the inside of the housing with the lense off. When you put the lense back on seal it with clear lense sealer/glue. It's a Permatex product you can get at about any parts store. Quote Selected

It used to be really cloudy before I pressure washed them.How's getting sheet metal, making it nice and reflective and using that to repair my 'chrome' reflection in the housing? My headlights don't project on anything but signs and relfectors. Quote Selected

Don't see why it wouldn't work on the headlight reflectors. :ies: Quote Selected
